Revision as of 16:43, 23 July 2020
Enlightenment is a very powerful way to improve your Epic Heroes beyond their previous limits. Only certain Heroes are able to attain Enlightenment, however more are added with seemingly every update. The most recent was Rath in July of 2017. It appears they plan to eventually Enlighten every Epic Hero.
Heroes
Currently every Epic Hero except Savage Chief is capable of reaching enlightenment.
Benefits of Enlightenment
Nearly every aspect of your Heroes is able to be improved through Enlightenment including: Max Active Skill level, Divine Skill level, Insight Skill max level, Fortitude Skill level, Attack, HP, Attack Rate, Skill DMG, Skill DMG Reduction, ect.
Unlocking Enlightenment
Once one of these Heroes has reached level 180 and Pisces Evolution they are able to be Enlightened by tapping on the icon in the top left corner of the Heroes Info page under the Evolution button. This will take you to the Enlightenment Interface where you can investigate all of the particulars about what benefit you get from Enlightening said Hero. If you wish to commit and unlock the Hero you must first feed 10 Ancient Spirits and 2,000 Mutagen into the first rank. The next rank requires 1 Ancient Spirit and gradually increases from there and additionally a variety of different resources including Rings, Souls, Mutagen, and Hero Shards. The resource costs are the same for all Heroes with only minor variations with exception of the Ancient Spirit cost for the newest and best Heroes for which the cost is almost doubled. So far I can confirm this list includes Stormrider and newer but not Toxic Shaman, but idk for all the Heroes in between.
Enlightened Heroes have a drastically different appearance and access to a new passive skill called Insight. Insight skills are not activated. Some are always active, while others have particular criteria which causes them to activate.
