Mortar is a long range bombardment cannon that deal splash damage to groups of units where the cannonball hits. Although it deals high damage, it fires rather slowly. This makes it more suitable at taking out mercenaries, where they usually moves in a big clumps. A mortar will be rendered useless once its targets get too close as it cannot shoot targets that is within a certain perimeter.

- Surprisingly, the mortar never misses its target, even when the target is moving. The projectile fired from the mortar will seemingly home in to the moving target.
