Ranged Combat is a menu in Spell Learning whereby you can spend Mystic Crystals to upgrade various stats for your Sharpshooter and Wizard . There are 5 skills which you can choose to upgrade, with the one at the top being the main skill which also determines how high you can level the other 4 skills. Don't be confused by the fact that Ranged Combat is in the Spell Learning menu, these buffs are passive and require no more than spending Mystic Crystals to receive the benefits. These buffs can be quite substantial and should be considered very seriously if you want to score highest in Battle Royale and Guild Clash. Main Skill[]

The main skill at the top of this window is Ranged Combat. Leveling it increases Sharpshooter and Wizard Attack Rate by up to 40%. The skill is level capped based on the level of your Ancient Relic. The four lower skills are all level capped by the Ranged Combat skill and can never be leveled higher than it, but also are generally capped at a much lower level. Notes[]

  • Ranged Combat is generally regarded and a very high priority skill because Sharpshooter and Wizard strats are able to deal an incredible amount more damage than any other mercs because of the skills of Chiron and Pyro Pete, and Skull Mage respectively.
  • The Main Skill boosting Attack Rate and the second skill boosting Attack are both very strong upgrades but all of the other upgrades are arguable as to their benefit.
  • Hp and Damage Reduction can be very strong in Guild Clash whereby players usually have at least one defensive hero who can dish out loads of aoe damage, but nearly worthless against many enemies in Battle Royale whereby the conditions are very controllable and it can be easy to heal through whatever aoe damage exists.
  • Speed on the other hand can be good or bad, as it will often make the difference between who draws agro from base defenses. If you want your mercs to act as battle fodder then by all means boost away, but be weary if your goal is to maximize scoring. Also if you are leveling melee because Abyss Demon is your tank, speed may just give his warriors the edge in wiping out buildings just before AD can reach them and thus spend most of his time chasing ghosts rather than healing.
