Special Effect[]
The special effect of the Thorned Bow knocks your Hero's target back about 3 tiles every 8 attacks while also applying a dot which deals damage to and ensnares the target for 4 seconds. It also applies a less powerful version of the dot to targets in a roughly 4 tile circle around the target. The Thorned Bow has the bonus effect of increasing your Sharpshooters' range by a good amount.

Thorned Bow Parts and Stats[]
Each of the stats below are boosted by the Thorned Bow. Each individual stat with the exception of Mercenary Base HP is improved by adding Parts and all stats are increased by a small amount when the weapon is evolved. Notes[]
- The Thorned Bow's proc can be problematic in certain Game Modes such as Battle Royale because it will continually knock the Boss back into the other Bosses eventually aggroing everything and reducing your damage output as your Heroes must repeatedly inch forward. The only case where this isn't a problem is when you are fighting a Melee Boss with all Ranged Heroes.
- One of the largest threats to a defensive Ambrosia are melee Heroes who have the wherewithal to withstand the defensive barrage that ensues when they dive deep into your base to hunt after her. Equipping her with a Thorned Bow can give her a break from their assault and is especially effective against Abyss Demon who relies on attacking in order to heal.
